Tonight, the Teatro Vittoria in Rome will host the premiere of 'I 39 Scalini' a play that will see TerraCieloMare as the official sponsor of the entire tour. Throughout the three months of the performance, the brand will appear on the playbills and in the theatre books of the show. In addition, the actors will wear a TerraCieloMare watch on their wrist.

The choice fell on this production as it has a close connection to the world of aviation. The cast formed by Nini Salerno, Roberto Ciufoli, Barbara Terrinoni and Manuel Casella has already staged last year's show, winner of two major theatre awards, which has been running for four seasons in London's West End, for two on Broadway and currently in about eight countries around the world. Based on John Buchan's gripping detective story and Alfred Hitchock's memorable film, it has been transformed into a hilarious stage play; with four actors playing a minimum of 39 roles in 100 minutes of ingenious fun, it is a spy story full of adventure, spectacular chases and twists. London. During a theatrical performance in which Mr. Memory is performing, Richard Hannay, a young Canadian, meets a woman who says her name is Annabella Smith - clearly a false name - and asks him to put her up at his house. The woman confesses to Richard that she is a spy, but the same night she is murdered with a knife in the back by individuals who have broken into the house. Annabella is in time to show a map of Scotland with a location indicated. Before she dies she also mentions the '39 Steps', a coven of dangerous and ruthless spies, headed by Professor Jordan, a dangerous character without many scruples. Richard feels his life is in danger and decides to go to Scotland when the English police, soon after the discovery of the corpse in his home, begin a ruthless hunt for him. A long escape begins for Richard, in the company of Pamela, a comely blonde he had previously met, which will lead Richard to brilliantly get away with a political convention, a house inhabited by a rather greedy and maniacal old man, the Scottish moors, a hotel run by a nice woman, and even the home of the enemy. We have all the thriller themes: espionage, the innocent accused of a crime he did not commit, the escape, and the protagonist who is completely exonerated in the end. Of course, the happy ending is easy to guess.
