Timex Group Luxury Division introduces Vincent Bérard

Part of the Timex Group since 2006 and originally based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Vincent Bérard was a manufacturer of luxury mechanical watches inspired by nature. Reinterpreting that connection with nature in a contemporary key and with today's awareness, Timex Group Luxury Division has announced the launch of a new collection of Swiss Made watches with a green soul. The range consists of timepieces that employ only Swiss-made mechanical movements, avoiding the use of batteries, and use sustainable materials -recycled or eco-friendly- at a sustainable price. The green concept is emphasised visually by the customised forest-green rotor, visible from the case back, and the second hand, also green, on all models. Underlining the brand's commitment to innovative and environmentally conscious creations are the interchangeable straps, made of fabric derived from recycled PET bottles, vintage vegetable-tanned leather or Nuo©, a patented material obtained from thin sheets of laser-engraved wood. Thanks to a partnership with Treedom, a non-profit organisation that supports agroforestry projects around the world, a tree will be planted for every watch sold. "Sustainability adds emotional capital to the value of the watch and has become a key status indicator in the eyes of today's consumers. The Vincent Bérard watches, all equipped with a screw-down crown, sapphire crystal and water resistant to 100 metres, will be available in exclusive selected retail outlets and at www.vincentberard.com from September 2019.
