Tissot at the Tour de France

After the Grands Classics, Tissot's appointment with the great cycling races continues, in particular with the 107th edition of the Tour de France, which started on 29 August from Nice and will end as per tradition on the Champs Elisées in Paris on Sunday 20 September. Already Official Timekeeper of the Tour de France and Vuelta, Tissot this year strengthens its commitment to cycling by signing the Grand Slam with the Giro d'Italia, thus becoming the first official timekeeper in the history of the three most important tours in the cycling universe. Inclusion of the Giro in its roll of honour in cycling competitions was a natural step for Tissot, as cycling is one of the sports for which the company has been most involved for over fifty years. Since then, the company has been the official timekeeper for road and track cycling and BMX world championships as well as the UCI Track Cycling World Cup. Tissot is proud of its collaboration with the UCI (International Cycling Union), which is responsible for safeguarding the high competitive and ethical level of all events: an activity that faithfully reflects the values of the brand and the Swiss philosophy. In particular, the Giro d'Italia will see the athletes start from Monreale, on Saturday 3 October, with an individual Tissot time trial. The competition will then travel through Sicily, after which it will skirt the eastern Italian coast and conclude in Milan, again with a Tissot time trial, on 25 October in Piazza del Duomo, for a total of 21 stages.
