FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, has extended its global partnership agreement with Tissot for the period 2013-2016. The agreement also extends to timekeeping services. In fact, the agreements confirming Tissot as the federation's "Official Watch" and "Official Timekeeper" have been confirmed. The first important appointment for FIBA and the watch brand will be in 2014 in Spain for the basketball World Cup. Frenchman Tony Parker, ambassador of the Swiss brand since 2008, says he is very pleased with the watchmaker's growing involvement in basketball worldwide.
