The Omega Railmaster returns

Exactly sixty years after its first Railmaster, Omega offers a new version with some obvious improvements. Thanks first of all to its Master Chronometer calibre 8806, the watch is fifteen times more resistant than the original. Certified to the highest standard by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (Metas), it can withstand magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss. The update is not limited to the movement: the new black, vertically brushed dial catches the eye with its hollowed hour markers filled with vintage-effect SuperLuminova. The same dial features the minute "track", the precision cross symbol and the Railmaster logo, giving it a further vintage touch. As a final detail, there are baton-shaped hour and minute hands and a "lollipop" seconds hand. The 40-millimetre case is in steel; the case back features the patented Naiad Lock design, which keeps the engraved words perfectly in place, and is embellished with an embossed seahorse medallion. The watch is water-resistant to 150 metres and is available with a steel bracelet or a textile strap. A second version of the Railmaster features the same design, but with a grey dial.
