The seventh edition of VO Vintage, event dedicated to vintage watches and jewellery open to the public with free admission after registering on the site, at this link.
Belle Époque, Art Deco, modern antiques, 'second hand' to buy or admire, with opening hours from 10 am to 6.30 pm. After the success of this year's January edition, therefore, Italian Exhibition Group, the event's organiser, is making an encore for the public of collectors, enthusiasts or even just curious people who have shown qualified and constant growth since January 2020. Success that responds to the search for forms of investment by collectors and the curiosity of the younger generations, who are increasingly turning to durable goods that increase their value over time.
VO Vintage will take place in conjunction with Vicenzaoro September and will allow visitors to observe and admire live iconic jewellery, signed Tiffany &Co. Buccellati or Cartier (to name but a few), as well as unique bracelets and necklaces made by 20th century Italian craftsmen. For the 'second wrist', the hands run on the dials of signed models Vacheron Constantin, IWC, Patek Philippe or models as iconic as the Rolex Daytona or the Omega Speedmaster.
In addition to the market opportunities at VO Vintage, Italian Exhibition Group will, as per tradition, offer a rich calendar of events to meet and discuss with leading Italian experts in the sector for both watches and jewellery in talks and workshops that will give a better understanding of these objects of desire and, at the same time, evaluate their history, design and materials.

VO Vintage 2025: two talks by L'Orologio
Two talks will be moderated by the editor of our magazine, Dody Giussani.
The first one, to be held on Saturday 6 September at 4 p.m., entitled 'Independent Collecting - Third episode of the Laboratory podcast', will focus on watch collecting without conditioning, or how to consciously purchase objects that fascinate us in terms of history and content, transcending commercial value but not intrinsic value. Which means trusting our own expertise and taste and... becoming discoverers. How, then, to acquire this security that leads to independence from the market?

The talk is also the occasion for the third episode of the new podcast signed The Clock, which goes by the name of Workshop, produced in collaboration with Pietro Pannone, founder of Ghiera Orologi. The podcast can be listened to for free on Spotify at this link. Speaker of this talk will be Jacopo Spangaro, founder of Spangaro & Co. Auctions and art director of the title Your Time, dedicated to young, dynamic and independent collecting.

On 7 September at 12 noon, a talk entitled "The new frontier of expertise". The central theme of this talk is the advancement of technology, which makes it increasingly easy to come across assembled, restored or cloned watches that are faithful to the originals, difficult to distinguish based only on photographs and comparisons. Fortunately, the same technology also comes to the aid of experts and appraisers, enabling increasingly accurate analyses and taking knowledge to a new level. Speaker of this talk, always moderated by our director Dody Giussani, will be Giovanni Varesi, Ceo of the consulting company GVE and partner of The Watch Boutique Milan. The appointment for the seventh edition of VO Vintage is therefore set at the Fiera di Vicenza, from 6 to 8 September.
