The new Black Bay Chrono 'Carbon 25' by Tudorwith a 42 mm case made entirely of carbon fibre - including the end links - and titanium pushpieces, pays tribute to the long road the company has travelled alongside great motorsport teams. This new chronograph, produced in a limited and numbered edition on the case back of only 2,025 pieces, thus celebrates Tudor's strong link with motor racing, dating back to the 1950s.

The distinctive feature of the Black Bay Chrono 'Carbon 25' is the aforementioned case made of carbon fibre. This material guarantees exceptional lightness, which is essential in the world of racing, where every gram can make the difference between victory and defeat. The watch design is completed by a fixed bezel with a tachymeter scale, made of a single carbon element, and titanium screw-down pushers, inspired by early Tudor chronographs.

The chronograph counters, also made of carbon fibre, create a nice contrast with the convex 'racing white' dial. The same dial is completed by the date window at 6 o'clock and the famous Snowflake hands, luminescent like the geometric markers.

Touches of blue and red here and there recall the livery of the team's Formula 1 cars Visa Cash App Racing Bulls. For protection, there is a domed sapphire crystal.

Tudor Black Bay Chrono 'Carbon 25': manufacture calibre

This chronograph is driven by the MT5813 calibre, chronometer-certified by the Cosc.

Inside the case beats the manufacture calibre MT5813 (28,800 vibrations per hour), an automatic mechanical movement certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (Cosc). With column wheel and vertical clutch, this calibre offers an autonomy of 70 hours and uses a silicon balance spring, which is therefore antimagnetic. Also of note is the presence of the variable inertia balance.
