Devil is the name of the latest evolution of the famous Freak from Ulysse Nardin, the first watch to use silicon technology. So called because of its devilish appearance given by the power reserve indicator, with its "red horns" emerging from the totally black background, the Freak Diavolo employs silicon in the balance spring in most of the escapement. The Freak Diavolo then incorporates a flying tourbillon indicating the seconds. Its carrousel tourbillon makes one complete rotation around the centre in 60 minutes. Eight-day power reserve, frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, manual winding from the bezel at the bottom of the case: one complete rotation is equivalent to 12 hours of power reserve, time adjustment forwards and backwards with the help of the bezel; white gold case with a diameter of 44.5 millimetres.
