During 'The Geneva Watch Auction: SEVEN', an exclusive A. Lange & Söhne watch, the 1815 "Homage to Walter Lange", a unique piece with a steel case and black enamel dial. The auction will be organised by Phillips in association with Bacs & Russo and will take place in Geneva on the weekend of 12 and 13 May. All proceeds from the sale of the watch will be donated to charity, specifically to the Children Auction Foundation. To date, more than 80,000 children have benefited directly from the projects promoted by the foundation, which saw the light in 1994 thanks to Swiss businessman Bernard Sabrier, and whose motto is 'Every child has the right to childhood'. The 1815 "Homage to Walter Lange", with its 40.5 mm steel case, is a unique piece and houses the manual L1924 calibre, where the number "1924" is a tribute to the late Walter Lange, who was born in 1924.
