Inspired by the popular US animated sitcom from which the new Unimatic x South Park watch takes its name, it puts the character of Eric Cartman, the most pestiferous and amoral of the four child protagonists, centre stage.
Its turquoise cap on the matt white dial is echoed by the colour of SuperLuminova C9, used for the hour markers and hands, and that of the nubuck leather on the strap. The brushed steel case, 41.5 mm in diameter, surmounted by a bezel with a black aluminium insert, is water-resistant to 300 metres and houses a self-winding mechanical movement, Seiko calibre NH35A (24 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour), with a 41-hour power reserve.
The baton hands and geometric markers are treated with SuperLuminova, while the crown (with protective shoulders) and the case back are screwed down.
It is on the latter, which also bears the serial number of the limited series (100 pieces), that all four cartoon characters peep out.
