As part of the new positions at Richemont, comes the official announcement from Vacheron Constantin announcing the appointment of Juan Carlos Torres as non-executive Chairman of the Maison and Louis Ferla as CEO as of April 1st. Having joined Vacheron Constantin in 1981, Juan Carlos Torres has held the position of CEO since 2005. Johann Rupert, Executive Chairman of Richemont, said: "Juan Carlos Torres has been the brand's reference point since its acquisition by the Group and is undoubtedly the architect of the great development that the Maison has experienced in recent years. My sincere thanks go to him for his commitment throughout his long and successful career".
Louis Ferla, currently Managing Director Sales & Marketing Vacheron Constantin, said: "It is an honour to be part of Vacheron Constantin, a Maison that has been transmitting its precious savoir-faire from generation to generation since 1755. This transition, alongside Juan Carlos Torres, will allow us to perpetuate the spirit of excellence that drives our Manufacture".
