Zannetti - Buffalo Regent and Buffalo Gladiator Special Edition

Zannetti inaugurates 2021 with three special editions celebrating the Chinese New Year. The Year of the Buffalo will in fact begin on 12 February 2021, and the Roman watchmaker is dedicating three brand new limited edition timepieces to the majestic animal. The fil rouge that binds the three models together is a powerful silhouette, the absolute star of the dial and embellished with workmanship executed by hand in Zannetti's specialised ateliers. For the two versions of the Bufalo Regent, Zannetti opts for a mother-of-pearl dial, where the figure of the buffalo is hand-crafted using the polychrome enamel micro-painting technique, with vibrant colours and an extraordinary wealth of details and nuances. Portrayed in all its vigour and fighting temperament, the ox is depicted with large, powerful horns in one model, and with weapons in its fist in the other, as a sign of the imminent duel. Against this backdrop rotate the three luminescent hands, animated by a precise automatic movement. Completing the celebratory series is the Bufalo Gladiatore model: the corozo dial, in a neutral ivory shade, is finely engraved with the iconic buffalo's snout as a backdrop to the dance of the hours. Around the perimeter of the dial, the time is marked with a geometric decoration, interspersed every five minutes with small black triangles, an aesthetic and at the same time functional sign in the precise art of measuring time. Distinctive signature on the dial, the Zannetti logo stands out with the indication "Hand Made Roma", underlining the proud Capitoline provenance. Sturdy 42 and 43 mm steel cases frame the timepieces, which are powered by Swiss Made automatic movements. Each model is made in only three pieces.
Prices: 6,100 euro (Bufalo Regent); 5,100 euro (Bufalo Gladiator).
