The brand Zannetti has dedicated an unpublished copy to the history of the Bourbons on the occasion of the exhibition 'La Reggia e le Regine' (The Royal Palace and the Queens) inaugurating the new season at the Royal Palace of Caserta.
The Regent Crown features a dial decorated with polychrome enamels, reproducing the mantle of ermine, widely used in Renaissance heraldry as a symbol of power. In the central part, an engraved and painted crown, together with engraved and bas-relief 18-carat gold inserts, evoke the splendour and typical mannerisms of a much-loved era. It is made with a steel case.
The 'Royal Palace of Wonders' is the international promotion project of the Royal Palace of Caserta and its territory, organised by the Provincial Tourist Board, which took place in Rome on 28 November and during which the Royal Palace relived the splendours of the court with a re-enactment of the long reign of Ferdinand IV and Maria Carolina of Austria through various initiatives, including the exhibition 'The Royal Palace and the Queens', which will run until 10 January 2010. Godmother of the event was actress Maria Grazia Cucinotta: "I am happy, as a professional and as a woman from the south, to take part in such an important project in a scenario that everyone dreams of," said Ms Cucinotta at the press conference presenting the project.
