New air for the Pasha de Cartier

A cult watch since its creation in 1985, the Pasha de Cartier has been renewed without betraying its origins. Several new elements have been introduced, starting with the winding crown embellished with a blue spinel or sapphire and personalised with an engraving located under the famous chain crown cover that only reveals itself to the eye when the latter is unscrewed. Another element introduced with the new Pasha collection is the interchangeability of bracelets and straps via the QuickSwitch system, consisting of an invisible mechanism developed by Cartier and activated by a simple pressure. The SmartLink system, the subject of a patent, then allows the length of the bracelet to be adjusted autonomously and without the use of additional tools. Each SmartLink link features a button that enables the attachment bar to be pulled out and one of the metal links of the Pasha de Cartier watch to be removed or added. Available in steel, yellow gold, pink gold and diamonds, the collection offers a variety of models, ranging from jewelled pieces to those designed for watch connoisseurs in a skeleton version. Many of these employ the automatic calibre 1847 MC, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback: the use of non-magnetic nickel-phosphorous components for the escapement and movement mechanisms, as well as a buckle made of a paramagnetic alloy integrated into the case, enables this same calibre to effectively resist the strong magnetic fields to which a watch may be exposed. Water resistance is guaranteed up to 10 atmospheres.
