Microbrand - Garrick and the luxury of exclusivity

Only one-of-a-kind pieces made to order, using the highest level of technology and finishing: the British brand Garrick.

Garrick

While most of the big brands only started to produce their movements in-house after many years, Garrick Watchmakers is an exceptional if not unique case: in less than nine years, it has produced two calibres entirely in-house, earning a nomination for the Grand Prix d'Horologerie de Genève 2021, and is now aiming for new complications.

Garrick

An independent brand established in Norfolk in 2013, Garrick's founders are David Brailsford, on call 24 hours a day or nearly so to listen to customers' requests, who can follow the creation of the watch ordered step by step and personalise it in every detail, and Simon Michlmayr, an experienced watchmaker.

The cases are in steel or gold, the dials, guilloché or skeletonised, in gold or rhodium-plated silver. For the movements, some models adopt the in-house UT- G01 and UT-G05 calibres, with a free-sprung balance on the dial side, others the modified ETA 6498 calibres (like the BF03 in the photo) and decorated by Simon Michlmayr.
