Since 1900, the relationship between the House of Le Locle and Sangalli has been much more than just a business relationship. After exactly 110 years of uninterrupted collaboration, the historic Milanese watchmaker is the oldest Italian dealer Zenith still active today.

Since 5 October, the day of the inauguration of the new corner dedicated to Zenith's historical models in the Via Bergamini shop in Milan, customers have been able to admire a collection of perfectly restored vintage watches in a special showcase (itself vintage) inside the watch shop.

"The Sangalli watch shop is the best location in the world for a display of this kind," explains Paolo Cappiello, brand manager for Southern Europe at Zenith. "We are in the same room where customers bought a Zenith a century ago, with the same furnishings and the same charm."

Members of L'Orologio Club had a preview tour of the collection with the guidance of Giuliano Sangalli and his sons Andrea and Davide. "Knowing the brand's more than 100-year history allows one to better appreciate the current products," explains Andrea Sangalli. "With this initiative we want to transmit a wealth of culture and tradition, knowing that there is a history that precedes us and will follow us." The watches on display are not for sale, but constitute a small Italian Zenith museum.
