In the next issue of L'Orologio we publish an interesting interview with Vartan Sirmakes, CEO of the Franck Muller Group. The Group now owns several brands, but the most recent acquisition is that of watchmaker Martin Braun, which deserves to be better known.
Incidentally, a visit to the brand's website reveals that a competition to win a Martin Braun watch is online. It seems to us that the competition is for the moment only aimed at residents of the United States, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean... But the initiative is to be monitored... This the link.

Made with a steel case, Astraios indicates, by means of two long blued hands in constant vertical movement (in contrast to the normal hour hands in the centre of the dial), the position of the Earth in relation to the Sun and the time of the Sun's rising and setting. The original plate for the astronomical indications is mounted on a self-winding ETA 2892-2 base. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 3 atmospheres.
