Girard-Perregaux - Tourbillon with Three Golden Bridges

One of the extraordinary haute horlogerie creations by Girard-Perregaux is the Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges, enhanced by a round pink gold case with a diameter of 41 millimetres housing a self-winding mechanical movement, calibre GP9600-0018, manufactured in-house. Its special feature consists of arrow-shaped bridges arranged in parallel, visible from the dial side. Special attention is also paid to the tourbillon device: its 72 components are meticulously assembled in a diameter of just 12 millimetres; the upper and lower cages are chamfered and polished by hand and the balance is balanced with gold adjustment screws. This version is a limited edition of only 50 pieces (price of €166,000), but there is also a second one with a bezel, case middle and lugs set with 88 diamonds, in a limited edition of 18 pieces (price of €319,500).
