Official Timekeeper of FIBA (International Basketball Federation), Tissot now boasts a new ambassador, French professional basketball player Tony Parker, whose career is studded with great successes: a bronze medal win with the French national team at the 2005 European Championships is coupled with a stellar NBA career. Parker has won the title of NBA Champion three times (in 2003, 2005 and 2007) and qualified as an NBA All Star three times. In 2007, he earned the title of MVP (Most Valuable Player) in the NBA Finals, the first foreign player to achieve such an accolade. Upon signing the contract, Tissot President François Thiébaud commented: "We are proud to count Tony Parker among Tissot's international testimonials. His natural talent, concentration and determination are exceptional and our partnership will help to promote these qualities worldwide, making them an inspiration. Who knows?
