With the opening of its first Italian boutique in Milan, Breitling delighted its many enthusiasts. Among them was a large group of members of the L'Orologio Club who, on 23 November, were guests of the brand for an evening of fine watchmaking, including a practical lesson on the B01 calibre, the pillar on which the brand's entire chronograph production is based.
The interior spaces, just a few steps from Via Montenapoleone, were inspired by an airport lounge, with a spectacular cocktail bar where one of the city's best bartenders created his cocktails for all those present. "For me, the event at Breitling was a special evening dedicated to passion," was the comment of one of the participants. "We came into contact with unique watches, right down to the movement, the beating heart that makes them move almost by magic, all in a friendly, intimate and functional setting with a great welcome.
The members also enjoyed handling and trying on their wrist the models of the Swiss signature and those of the collections that mount the B01 calibre. The latest arrival, in order of time, is the revamped Avenger, now available in six versions with steel or ceramic cases and in various colours, with a more contemporary design and contrasting counters, except for two models.
The same movement for the models in the Premier collection, inspired by the great legacy of the chronographs of the past and recently expanded with the launch of eight references, 40 mm and 42 mm, all with bi-compax dials. And for the watches in the Top Time line, all dedicated to the world of motors, including the Deus version, 42 mm in diameter, with a black dial and contrasting white counters, no date window, also available with a beautiful Milanese mesh bracelet.
