The original Zeitwerk decimal minute repeater, a model at the forefront of functionality and design, returns in a new version with a Honeygold case. Since 2009, research into the function and construction techniques of the Zeitwerk has not stopped. The mechanical concept behind the construction of the watch offered the best requirements for the integration of other functions, especially those requiring more energy.

The Minute Repeat was first introduced in 2015, but interpreted in a unique way: instead of the conventional quarter-hour, it sounds at ten-minute intervals, striking the hour exactly as it is displayed. When the button is activated at 10 o'clock, a low tone is sounded at the completion of each hour, a double tone (high/low) at the completion of each ten minutes, and a high tone at the completion of each minute.

After the platinum and white gold versions, Lange presented a new variant in Honeygold, an 18-carat gold alloy twice as hard as the classic yellow gold developed by the brand. The movement, visible through the case back, is the manual L043.5 calibre, equipped, like its predecessors, with constant-force operation via a patented tension mechanism.

The digital minute display jumps precisely, in fractions of a second, from one minute to the next. The propulsive thrust is generated by the tensioning mechanism between the barrel wheel and the balance, which ensures the transmission of a constant force to the regulating organ throughout the watch's entire autonomy.

To prevent the repeating sequence from being prematurely interrupted and the watch from stopping inadvertently, the chime can no longer be activated when the remaining power reserve is less than 12 hours (indicated by a red dot on the indicator at 12 o'clock on the dial). At the same time, the extraction of the crown is blocked. In this way, the alarm scan and the acoustic time display are not affected.

This edition, with its grey 925 silver dial and made in 30 pieces, also epitomises the distinctive elements of the brand's Saxon style: craftsmanship, details, technique and design.
