Baselworld 2017 preview: the new Tudor

Tomorrow the curtain will open on Baselworld 2017. While we wait, let's enjoy the preview offered by Tudor with the new Heritage Black Bay Steel. First introduced in 2012, this model now features a satin-finished steel bezel (until now it was available with a red, black or blue coloured disc). The rotating bezel has a satin finish on which the 60-minute scale is engraved in black. In addition, for the first time, this model features a date display. The automatic movement, calibre MT5612, was developed especially for this model and is a variant of the manufacture movement presented by Tudor in 2015. The calibre boasts a 70-hour power reserve, beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and is equipped with a silicon balance spring. It is Cosc chronometer-certified. Like all models in the Heritage line, it comes with two straps: one adjustable in fabric; the second with a choice of an aged leather strap or a steel bracelet. Price: to be determined.
