On 9 October, during the sixth Conférence Economique organised in Geneva by BCGE, CCIG and OCSTAT, manufacturing Franck Muller Watchland SA received the prestigious 'Prix de l'Industrie' award from the Chambre de Commerce International de Genève (CCIG) in association with the Office de promotion des industries et des technologies (OPI).

It is an award created in 1985 at the behest of the city of Geneva, icon the purpose of which is to pay tribute to and promote Geneva-based industrial companies that distinguish themselves in terms of innovation capacity.

For Franck Muller, this is therefore a very important recognition, which rewards above all a young group that has, in a short space of time, made a rapid ascent to the top of haute horlogerie.

"We are extremely proud to receive this award," said Vartan Sirmakes, co-founder and CEO of the Group. "For us it is a real reward, an acknowledgement of the hard work done by a supportive team that has been working hard for years. It is also a source of encouragement for what are the investments planned for the near future and for the new strategies that the Group will adopt in the coming years and that will affect infrastructure, personnel and training. We feel we have a strong commitment to the city of Geneva; a commitment to remain exemplary citizens which is expressed, in our case, in our desire to create prestige watches that represent the best Swiss watchmaking tradition while preserving a 100% Swiss Made.

Today, the Franck Muller Group has 14 production sites, located in different regions of Switzerland with a predominance in the vicinity of Geneva, and employs more than 1,000 people.
