Baume & Mercier - Sihh 2016: Clifton Chronograph with Full Calendar

The coupling of two complications, the chronograph and the complete calendar, enriches the classicism of Baume & Mercier's Clifton collection, which takes its cue from the models made in the 'Golden Fifties' period and preserved in the brand's museum collection. The sapphire crystal reveals the finishes executed on the components of the ETA-Valjoux 775 calibre: the snailed and côtes de Genève motifs on the oscillating weight, the circular-graining on the bridges and the plate, and the blued screws. The phases of the moon are indicated by a mobile disc rotating in a lunar month, lasting approximately 29 days and 12 hours.
