Thanks to the use of a sturdy and lightweight 43 mm black titanium case, combined with a blue dial with tone-on-tone counters, Breitling's Chronospace quartz chronograph takes on a new and original face, while still retaining its qualities as an instrument for professionals. The titanium case is distinguished by a beautiful black satin-brushed effect achieved with a high-resistance carbon-based coating. As in all Breitling dials, the indications stand out for their excellent legibility, thanks in part to the use of large Arabic numerals and luminescent hands. The unidirectional rotating bezel offers an excellent grip with its four pivots, one of Breitling's hallmarks. The case, water-resistant to a depth of 100 metres, has protective reinforcements for the screw-down crown. Beneath its purely analogue displays - an exception for the Breitling Professional line - the Chronospace Evo Night Mission conceals a SuperQuartz movement ten times more accurate than traditional quartz. It is the Calibre 73, certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), and incorporates various functions useful to pilots and those with an adventurous spirit. It is a chronograph, of course, but there is more: it is a chronograph with a split-seconds hand, i.e. a second central hand that allows intermediate times to be measured, and a rapid time-zone change system that maintains minute and second accuracy. The intrepid and sporty character of this model is underscored by its rubber strap adorned with an embossed Breitling signature.
