Breitling is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Patrouille Suisse by dedicating to this formation an exclusive version of the Chronomat, in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces. Equipped with a satin-finished steel case, the new timepiece is distinguished by a black dial bearing the formation logo at 9 o'clock, as well as a rotating bezel with inlaid rubber numerals. The second hour hand, on the tip of which is the profile of a red F-5E Tiger, makes it easy to read a second time zone over 24 hours via a crown-operated system. The 24-hour scale on the bezel allows for the reading of a third time zone. The caseback is engraved with the official 50th anniversary logo, surmounted by the limited series number. Water-resistant to 20 atmospheres, the Chronomat 44 GMT "50th Anniversary Patrouille Suisse" houses the IWC-manufactured B04 calibre, self-winding and chronometer-certified by the COSC.
