Bulgari Aluminium: the non-conformist

Bulgari's Aluminium confirms, yesterday as today, its up-to-date style with an increasingly complete collection introducing new displays. From the GMT which returns to its original winning combination of black and white colours, to the Chronograph and the Automatic with new colour identities.

Bulgari Aluminium

In 1998, the combination of aluminium and rubber in watchmaking represented a bold choice, which defined the Aluminium as a cutting-edge object at the time in design, an expression of the sportiest DNA of Bulgari. Since then, it has been renewed again and again without ever changing completely. This is thanks to the characteristic features that have made it famous, such as the double Bulgari engraving on the bezel (inherited from the Diagono) or the successful and ever-popular system of locking it to the case by means of the large screws securing the rubber strap articulated with the aluminium links.

Bulgari AluminiumRe-launched in 2020, with automatic movements and increased water resistance to 100 metres, Aluminium confirmed that when a design is a winner, it retains its appeal even more than twenty years later. Also benefiting from advances in materials technology, the new generation Aluminium introduced aluminium alloy 6082, renowned in the aerospace industry for its excellent characteristics, and FKM rubber, widely recognised in watchmaking for its strength and durability.
