Bulgari - Octo Roma Naturalia

Bulgari's new Octo Roma Naturalia feature the use of natural stones, namely black onyx, green malachite and lapis lazuli. In a process that takes two months, each stone is selected, cut and polished by hand. The same stones are used to make the case middle and certain elements of the movement, which is the BVL 206 manufacture calibre, mechanical with manual winding, skeletonised and equipped with a flying tourbillon device at 6 o'clock. The bridges of the movement, decorated with the aforementioned stones depending on the version, serve as hour markers. As mentioned, there are three versions available, all with 44 mm cases, and combining green malachite with pink gold, black onyx with sandblasted titanium with DLC treatment, or lapis lazuli with platinum, with the addition of brilliant-cut diamonds adorning the bezel and lugs of the latter variant. Both the dial (in view of the movement) and the case back are protected by a sapphire crystal; the strap is in crocodile leather, with a folding clasp. In addition, thanks to the launch of the Maestria app, Bulgari allows customers to personalise their Octo Roma Naturalia (in all three versions), for a total of 30 possible variants. For each configuration, the customer has the opportunity to see an overview of the design and product details. Once the customer is satisfied with his or her configuration, he or she can complete the order, sending it to Bvlgari Watches to begin production and will be updated throughout the main stages of the watch's construction, with details and images. Customers can also register and save their design for later review.
