Casio's new G-Steel collection is the result of the fusion of two worlds: that of resin, which has always given the famous G-Shocks their typical "street style" look, and that of steel, which now takes centre stage, lending refinement and power to an unprecedented model that further strengthens its shock-resistant characteristics. The new line is characterised by different metallic colours that enhance the protective structure of the case, where embossed applications add personality and further robustness to the watch. It is the strap, however, that really distinguishes the G-Steel in two exclusive versions: one, in fact, has a steel bracelet, and the other has a resin bracelet, which is decidedly more sporty. The special feature of the G-Steel, then, is the steel case with its dual analogue and digital dial, which ensures that the time can be clearly read at any time of day or night, but above all whatever the light conditions and the position of the hand. The high-brightness LED light and the practical hand concealment function thus ensure optimal illumination and full legibility of the dial. In addition to the GST-W110 series, which is available as a bracelet version or with a resin strap and stainless steel case from EUR 279, the GST-210 series comes in two variants: the GST-210D collection with a stainless steel bracelet and silver or gold dial, and the GST-210B collection with a resin strap and metal case - for a high-contrast effect - available in total black or with a copper-coloured case. The G-Steels catch the eye thanks to their unprecedented features, but they also embody all the distinctive elements that have made the G-Shocks famous over time: water resistance to 20 atmospheres, chronograph functions, timer, radio signal reception, 31 different time zones and the well-established Tough Solar technology, which recharges the watch through exposure to the sun. Despite its wide range of technological functions and new materials, the G-Steel is completely user-friendly and feels absolutely comfortable on the wrist.
