Casio - Rangeman Watches

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of its G-Shock, Casio presents the new Rangeman, a watch designed for the wrists of military personnel engaged in high-risk missions. Equipped with Triple Sensor technology and a digital compass with a direction sensor, as well as being resistant to mud, the timepiece is self-powered thanks to the solar recharge offered by Tough Solar Power technology, which charges the watch through sunlight and fluorescent light, thus enabling the use of energy-intensive functions without compromising its operation. Resistance to 200 metres underwater, measurement of atmospheric pressure and temperature (-10°C /+60°C) for sea activities; altitude measurement with increments for each metre at one-second intervals and storage of up to 40 times the altitude data (retrievable at any time) for airborne activities. All managed by a single metal button with an ultra-resistant fabric surface to operate even in water or wet conditions. The Rangeman also incorporates Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping technology, which not only makes it an always-on timekeeping watch, but also alleviates the hassle of having to change the time when daylight saving time changes or the calendar in leap years. The new model automatically synchronises (depending on the user's city) with atomic clocks located in the United States, Germany, Great Britain and China. Equipped with the sunrise and sunset time display function, for any date and place, the timepiece also features a resin case and strap, scratch and shock-resistant mineral glass, Full Auto LED Super Illuminator light, stopwatch with 1/100th of a second accuracy, 12/24-hour format and time display for 48 cities worldwide. In Italy, it is available in the premium dealers of the G-Shock network, in black (GW9400-1ER) and military green (GW9400-3ER). Price: 299 euro.
