Casio - Pro Trek at Tor des Géants

Casio Pro Trek sponsored the fifth edition of Tor des Géants as Official Timekeeper. This is an unparalleled competitive sporting event: 330 km and 24,000 m of positive altitude difference can be covered in a single stage, at free speed, for a maximum of 150 hours (just over 6 days) in a semi-self-sufficient regime. The route - starting and finishing in Courmayeur - runs along the two Alte Vie of the Aosta Valley. The first to cross the finish line on 10 September was Italian Franco Collè. From Valle d'Aosta, born in 1978, Franco ran non-stop for three consecutive days - fighting against himself, sleep, fatigue, subjecting his body to an effort beyond all limits and relying solely on his own strength - finally crossing the finish line in an incredible time of 71h49'.

From Sunday, 7 September - the date of the start of the Giro dei Giganti - Franco Collè rested a total of less than two hours, covering the incredible distance of 330 kilometres and 24,000 metres of positive altitude difference and increasing the gap over the second-placed rider by more than five hours in the final stretch.

On his wrist is a Pro Trek PRW-3000.
