St-Tropez is Charriol's most glamorous and feminine watch collection. The line is inspired by all that is chic and French, and is represented by the eternal charm of the Riviera city from which it takes its name. Femininity and style are the hallmarks of this collection, which is constantly being revisited. Now, Charriol is launching a new version, inspired by another eternally chic city, Paris. The St-Tropez Mansart collection is named after Jules Hardouin-Mansart, one of the most influential European architects of the 17th century. His classical style is behind many of Paris' most famous buildings and squares, including Place Vendôme. Designed on an octagonal plan, Place Vendôme is synonymous with an architectural and formal beauty that has inspired artists, fashion designers and filmmakers over the centuries. Even today, the elegance of this square continues to inspire the world's most luxurious brands: hotels and haute couture make Place Vendôme their home. Taking inspiration from the elegance of this square, Charriol has revisited the St-Tropez watch in homage to Mansart's creations. The typical round case of the St-Tropez has been replaced by a small rectangular version (25 x 30 mm), with rounded corners to give it an octagonal shape. Three styles make it even more precious: a warm yellow gold version, a pink gold variant with diamonds on the four corners of the bezel, or a steel version set with 61 diamonds. There are two types of dials, reflecting the elegance of the famous Parisian square: a shiny version, in which white mother-of-pearl is set with diamonds, indexes and a small seconds counter at 6 o'clock with an opaline finish, and a more minimalist version, still in mother-of-pearl, but engraved, and with small seconds at 6 o'clock. As always with St-Tropez timepieces, the watch comes with the iconic bracelet, with steel cables, and the graceful chain.
