With the L.U.C XP Il Sarto Kiton timepiece, Chopard signs its first collaboration with the Italian haute couture atelier Kiton. The result is an ultra-flat timepiece, in a limited edition of just 100 pieces, featuring a Dlc microbillé steel case 40 millimetres in diameter and just 7.2 millimetres thick. On the black and grey brass dial, with a houndstooth pattern inspired by Kiton fabrics, stand out the golden numerals, combined with the fusée dauphine hour markers and hands, and the delicate red colour of the quarter-hours and Kiton logo at 6 o'clock. Also in red is the stitching of the slate grey strap, handmade without chemical treatment from a mix of pure Mongolian cashemire, wool and flannel, with a slight addition of elastane for extra comfort on the wrist; the red alligator leather lining adds to its value. The watch is delivered with a second black alligator leather strap, also lined in red alligator leather. The mechanics are entrusted to the L.U.C 96.53-L automatic movement, visible through the open back: just 3.3 mm thick, it is equipped with a tungsten micro-rotor and Chopard Twin technology, guaranteeing a power reserve of more than two days.
