For twenty years now, Chopard's Happy Sport watches have been particularly popular with women and others. This year, the Chopard icon combines steel and pink gold in a watch that is both contemporary and technical, equipped with an automatic movement. The year was 1993 when Caroline Scheufele created one of the icons of the Maison Chopard, the Happy Sport watch. Over the years, the timepiece has taken on different identities, one more evocative than the other, and has been interpreted at times with humour, but always in the name of elegance: Happy Beach, La Vie en Rose, Happy Spirit, Mystery Pink, are just some of the variants that have followed over time. Then, in 2013, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the collection, Chopard presented the new Happy Sport Medium Automatic. In this model, the famous mobile diamonds, one of the most fascinating innovations of the last forty years in jewellery, added a new mechanical dimension to their allure. Today, Chopard has chosen a new two-tone design for this automatic movement. The case and bracelet of the Happy Sport Medium Automatic Two Tone are in steel and 18-carat pink gold. Completing the ensemble is the delicate silvered dial, guilloché in the centre, where seven mobile diamonds "merrily" dance. Through the sapphire glass back, one can admire the self-winding mechanical movement, decorated with rectilinear côtes de Genève.
