Geneva Watch Days confirmed for August

After already anticipating the new dates, official confirmation arrived today that the Geneva Watch Days, initially scheduled for 26-29 April and then postponed, will be held from 26-29 August. After the cancellation of Baselworld and Watches & Wonders, this will be the only multi-brand event to take place in 2020. The brands that have launched the project are: Bulgari, Breitling, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux, Gerald Genta, Urwerk, H. Moser & Cie, De Bethune and MB&F. The steering committee is currently finalising the organisation of the event, which will welcome retailers and the press in various hotels in the centre of Geneva, but also in the boutiques or ateliers of the various participating brands: a de-centralised organisation, more agile, convivial and at the same time economically neutral, with the aim of making it as efficient and enjoyable as possible. All the locations of the various brands, located in one central area of the city, will be easily accessible. In addition to a central reception that will provide the necessary information, there will also be a digital support platform for registering, making appointments with the various brands and booking hotels at prices negotiated by the steering committee with the support of Geneva State Councillor Pierre Maudet. From the end of May, the various exhibition venues will be online. Maximum security is guaranteed from the health point of view: everything will be organised in strict compliance with the anti-Covid precautionary measures defined by the Confederation and the Canton of Geneva.
