Corum Admiral 42 Bronze

Presented in 1960, just five years after the brand was founded, the Admiral collection embodies Corum's legacy in the field of watchmaking dedicated to the sea. Although it has always remained true to its DNA, Corum has never been afraid to take on new challenges, as is the case today with the Admiral 42 Bronze, a watch that exalts both nautical design and mechanical watchmaking. The House's emblematic collection is thus enriched with two new models equipped with a 42 mm bronze case, a material used to pay tribute to the beauty and strength of the brass used on historic ships. The special bronze alloy used for the case and the dodecagonal bezel varies over time to give the timepiece a typically vintage look. To achieve as homogenous an effect as possible over time, a unique brushed finish was applied to the entire case. Faithful to the nautical roots of the Admiral collection, the model features 12 nautical flag indices on the dial. The colour palette of the nautical-inspired navy blue or sea green dial is coordinated with the colours of the alligator straps. Equipped with an automatic movement (CO395 calibre, with a 42-hour power reserve), visible through the sapphire crystal porthole on the case back, the watch has small seconds at 6 o'clock and the date at 3 o'clock. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 5 atmospheres.
