11 to 13 March 2011 Cuervo y Sobrinos participates as 'Title Sponsor' in the famous Coppa Milano-Sanremo, which is also called the 'Cuervo y Sobrinos Trophy' for the first time. The 800-kilometre-long race winds its way through the Apennines, via Genoa and Turin, until it reaches the famous Riviera dei Fiori. During this race, a tribute will be paid to the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy and, for the occasion, the watchmaker will present the new Tricolore model, designed especially for the event. It is a special edition of the historic Historiador Piccoli Secondi model, a classic and elegant watch that features the Italian flag and anniversary dates, 1861-2011, on its dial. Two of these new timepieces will be the prize for the first classified crew and will bear a special engraving on the case back, commemorating the celebration.
