De Bethune - DB16 Tourbillon Regulator

Equipped with perpetual calendar functions as well as a tourbillon device is the new DB16 Tourbillon Regulator from De Bethune. The typical De Bethune case has a diameter of 43 millimetres and is made of pink gold, while the tourbillon device (which makes one complete rotation in thirty seconds), made of silicon and titanium, is located on the back of the watch. Also on the back are indications of the power reserve (equal to four days, top) and the age of the moon (bottom). On the dial side, on the other hand, are the perpetual calendar indications, with day and month in a window (at 9 and 3 o'clock, respectively), date hand (at 6 o'clock) and moon phases with a leap year cycle (at 12 o'clock). The movement used, mechanical with manual winding, is the DB2509 calibre. These are its characteristics: 499 components, 36,000 vibrations per hour, 45 jewels, double barrel, silicon escapement wheel, moon phase display via a sphere.
