Among the novelties that Eberhard & Co Presented on the occasion of BaselWorld 2011, now just around the corner, is the Chrono 4 Geant in titanium. This is a limited edition of 1,887 pieces, in honour of the year the Maison was founded. The satin-brushed titanium case is imposing in size (46 millimetres), the rotating bezel is surmounted by PVD-treated screws, and the satin-brushed case back is engraved with the name of the model and the phrase "never forget who you are". Water-resistant to 20 atmospheres, with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the company's novelty is available in a version with a black gold dial featuring a thin metal plaque with côtes de Genève work, luminescent applique hour markers, six black screws and an engraved red "E" shield; the central seconds hand and the hands of the four black gold counters, with azuré work, are also in red. Confirming a resolutely sporty personality, the new chronograph is offered with an eye-catching, vertically sculpted rubber strap or with a titanium Chimère bracelet. At its heart is the self-winding mechanical movement, calibre EB. 251 12 ½, on an ETA 2894 base.
