La Ulysse Nardin is one of those companies that never ceases to amaze with the originality of its creations and its achievements in the field of watchmaking experimentation. Proof of this is its latest novelty, presented during the Basel Show, which is still in progress: the El Toro model, which combines a sophisticated and traditional complication, such as that offered by the perpetual calendar, with the use of avant-garde materials. In fact, the manufacturer has taken the Moonstruck case, declining it in red gold, and accompanied it with black ceramic for the bezel and pushpieces. This timepiece not only allows the forward or backward adjustment of all the calendar indications and the synchronisation of the setting of these elements with the movement of the hour hand, but is also equipped with a dual time function with an exclusive rapid time-zone change system and permanent indication of the time of origin. The movement is the automatic UN-32 calibre. It is produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces. For information: Ulysse Nardin Italia S.r.l., tel. 031/273898.
