Fortis presents a new timepiece from the B-47 collection featuring the world time display, which allows all 24 world time zones to be kept under control. In fact, the central disc depicting the different world time zones (displayed by means of a map of the continents) can rotate, while the reference time zone (i.e. Greenwich time zone) is depicted by a red line. The names of the reference cities in the respective time zones, on the other hand, are shown on the bezel. This is made possible by the use of the Fortis calibre F-2022 (21 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour), a self-winding mechanical movement. The case, made of steel, has a diameter of no less than 47 millimetres and is guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 10 atmospheres. The new B-47 GMT Worldtimer from Fortis is being produced in a limited edition of 2,012 pieces.
