Frederique Constant - 1988 Flyback Chronograph About Vintage

About Vintage is a Danish brand that has collaborated with Frederique Constant to create the 1988 Flyback Chronograph, based on the Flyback Chronograph Manufacture. This is not the first collaboration between the Geneva-based company and the Danish brand, as the two had already collaborated two years ago on the 1988 Moonphase. The 1988 Flyback Chronograph employs a 42 mm polished/satin-finished steel case, combined with a "box type" sapphire crystal, which protects a dark green dial on which, at 12 o'clock, both the Frederique Constant and About Vintage logos stand out. The watch uses the IWC-manufactured FC-760 calibre (32 jewels, 28,800 vib/h, 38-hour power reserve), a flyback chronograph, decorated with perlage and côtes de Genève. The dark green strap is made of calfskin. The timepiece comes with a special box containing two further spare straps, also in calfskin, one black and the other brown. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 5 atmospheres. Price: 3,999 euros (available at www.aboutvintage.com).
