Girard-Perregaux - 1966 Steel

The new version of the 1966 Girard-Perregaux timepiece does not renounce its sober and essential aesthetics. The opaline silver-toned dial features only the hours and minutes indications, entrusted to refined leaf-shaped hands - typical of the collection - and the date window, placed in the canonical position at 3 o'clock. Completing the elegant appearance of the model are also the slender lugs, whose rounded shape ensures optimal comfort on the wrist, thanks also to a fairly reduced thickness that does not reach 9 millimetres. Another star of this watch is the sapphire crystal case back, through which one can admire the self-winding mechanical movement, manufacture calibre GP03300-0030, with oscillating weight decorated with côtes de Genève. All enclosed within a case with a diameter of 40 millimetres. This Girard-Perregaux novelty is available either with a black alligator leather strap (€7,850) or with a steel and Milanese mesh bracelet (€8,550).
