GPHG watches on display in Geneva

After La Chaux-de-Fonds, Zurich and Berne, the 84 watches pre-selected in mid-September by the Academy of experts of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) will be on display until 15 November at the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire (MAH) in Geneva. The exhibition, which opened on 30 October in compliance with current anti-Covid regulations and is open to the public after registration, offers a unique opportunity to admire the year's most beautiful creations by almost 50 brands. At the same time, in order to make the public and young people more aware of the watchmaking profession, the GPHG is offering a free introduction to watchmaking workshops (inscription@gphg.org) run by the Geneva Watchmaking School with the support of the UFGVV (Union des Fabricants d'horlogerie de Genève, Vaud et Valais): three one-hour workshops are scheduled every day at 11.30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The winners of the 2020 prize will be revealed on 12 November during the award ceremony, which will be broadcast live on gphg.org, Euronews.com and specialised media partners, as well as on the Swiss television channel Léman Bleu.
