Greubel Forsey - Double Balancier 35°

Greubel Forsey creates a watch with two inclined balancers connected by a spherical differential that transmits the running average to the time train and the time display. This is an evolution of the concept first developed in 2009 with the fixed oscillator prototype, the double balancier incliné of 20°, Greubel Forsey's sixth Fundamental Invention. Initially, the two inclined balancers were presented superimposed and inclined at 20°. In the new model, the two inclined regulators are no longer superimposed but are positioned in different, spaced three-dimensional planes. With this structure, running precision is optimised, whether the watch is worn on the wrist or not. The Double Balancier 35° is made in only six 18-carat white gold pieces. The movement is mechanical and hand-wound, with a coaxial double barrel guaranteeing a 72-hour power reserve.
