Greubel Forsey Double Tourbillon 30° Technique

New products at Sihh 2011 include the Double Tourbillon 30° Technique by Greubel Forsey. What characterises it is the sapphire crystal of the dial that allows us to admire the gears of the manual winding GF02s calibre movement with concentric double tourbillon regulator: the inner cage, inclined at an angle of 30° with respect to the first, performs one complete revolution per minute; the outer one, on the other hand, completes one rotation in 4 minutes. In contrast to the previous versions, the new model is distinguished by the adoption of new graphic devices, first and foremost the colour of the plate with a nickel-palladium finish instead of black chrome; the engraved barrel cover, hands and hourmarkers are made of gold with a black chrome finish. Another difference concerns the material used for the case, namely platinum instead of rose gold, as for the 2010 model, or white gold, as for the 2009 model. Finally, the folding clasp of the hand-sewn black alligator strap is made entirely of platinum. Price: approximately €454,000.
