The partnership between Gucci and i.am+ for the development of an innovative wearable technology device was announced at Baselworld. It is a fashion accessory that integrates advanced and comprehensive technological features. The device works totally autonomously, independently of a smartphone (it has a built-in 3G connection). Features include the ability to make and receive phone calls, send and receive text messages and e-mails, music, maps, calendar, fitness and a sophisticated personal assistant activated by voice command. It is not yet known when it will be launched on the market and at what price.
