H. Moser & Cie. between modernity and tradition

Minute repeater and flying tourbillon together in Moser's Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Aqua Blue with new hand-wound movement.

Eye-catching is the minute repeater mechanism highlighted by H. Moser & Cie.'s hammers and gongs on the side of the dial at 10 o'clock. The latter, with no logo or hour markers, is made of translucent Grand Feu enamel with a smoky effect and a hammered texture in an intense Aqua Blue colour. It matches the one-minute flying tourbillon that peeps out at 6 o'clock, behind the skeleton bridge.

The case, with a diameter of 40 mm and available in 5N red gold and a brown alligator strap or in titanium and a black alligator strap (both in a limited edition of 20), has undergone meticulous workmanship in order to optimise the sound to achieve a perfect balance between volume, resonance and harmony. The case middle has been freed as much as possible of its contents both to create a resonance chamber that can amplify the sound of the hours, quarters and minutes (sound emitted by the two gongs struck by two hammers activated by levers on the basis of information supplied by different probes), and to accommodate the movement behind it, the new hand-wound HMC 904 calibre (33 mm in diameter, 9.62 mm thick, frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and 90-hour power reserve).
