Fascinated by Oriental culture, like his father Heinrich, one of Switzerland's greatest industrialists and entrepreneurs of the 19th century, Henri Moser collected more than 4,500 works of art and rare objects during his many trips around the world. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the donation of this collection to the Bernisches Historisches Museum in the Swiss city of Berne on 4 September, H. Moser & Cie. was the star of an event attended by, among others, Bucherer - the brand's distributor - and customers and friends of the Moser family. Also present at the evening were Roger Nicholas Balsiger, great-grandson of Heinrich Moser and president of the Heinrich and Henri Moser Foundation, who shared his knowledge of the family with the guests, and Edouard Meylan, CEO of the brand, who illustrated the connection between past and future by dwelling on the entrepreneurial spirit of the founder that lives on in the company's activities.
