Hublot has created the Classic Fusion House of Mandela model, created in partnership with the foundation of the illustrious human rights defender's family, The House of Mandela. A tribute to this exceptional character, who died in 2013 at the age of 95, the watch is made in King Gold in two versions: a 45 mm male model and a 42 mm female model set with 35 diamonds (totalling 1.15 carats) on the bezel. A special series limited to just 95 pieces, like Nelson Mandela's age at his death. The dial is engraved with the Mandela family icon, the bee and its forked wings, symbolising the many branches of the Mandela family tree.
Part of the proceeds from the sale of the watches will be donated to the foundation to contribute to the education of children in South Africa, one of the charitable projects of The House of Mandela.
